Job Title: Commercial IT Paralegal - IT Contracts Management

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Commercial IT Paralegal to join our dynamic team in North Dallas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT contracts, with expertise in contract management and contract flows. This position is on-site and full-time, requiring the individual to manage and support the lifecycle of commercial IT contracts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Contract Management: Manage and review a variety of commercial IT contracts, including software agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), licensing agreements, and cloud service contracts.
  • Contract Lifecycle Support: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT contracts from negotiation to execution, including tracking renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Contract Flow Management: Ensure smooth contract workflows, including coordinating with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, procurement, IT) to facilitate timely reviews, approvals, and execution.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Assist in ensuring that all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies; identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for internal departments regarding IT contract queries, issues, and resolutions.
  • Contract Database Management: Maintain and organize a contract database to ensure easy retrieval and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on IT contracts, contract management, or a related field.
  • Education: Paralegal certificate from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial IT contracts, including software licenses, cloud services, hardware agreements, and IT service contracts.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of contract law, particularly within the technology and IT sectors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in contract management systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with legal departments in large organizations or tech companies.
  • Familiarity with contract management software or tools.
  • Paralegal certification or advanced legal training related to IT contracts.
