Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Review and analyze client insurance policies, ensuring coverage is adequate and up-to-date.
- Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in the agency management system.
- Prepare and present reports and insurance proposals to clients.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for new business.
- Mentor and train junior staff as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in commercial insurance.
- Attend industry conferences and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Valid insurance license (Property & Casualty).
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in account management.
- Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products (general liability, property, workers' compensation, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
