Commercial Gas Engineer

£40000 to £45000 per annum
Oncall bonus and overtime available
Based from Manchester (nationwide travel)
Enhanced DBS will be required (paid for by client)
Fuel Card provided
Time Recruitment are looking for an experienced commercial gas engineer to work for one of our prestigous facilities management companies based in Manchester. The role will be based from Manchester but the successful candidate must be happy to travel across England (mainly the north) and be happy with the occassional overnight stay. A fuel card will be provided for all travel. This role will be working in Care homes, Dental surgeries, GP practices and Schools so a enhanced DBS will need to be applied for. The successful candidate must have previous experience in Servicing, repairing and maintaining gas appliances. Duties of the role will include:
- Installation - Setting up gas appliances and systems including pipework
- Maintenance on previous installs
- Repairing faults in gas appliances and sytems - leaks and safety issues.
- Dveloping and maintaing gas safety plans and systems
- Scheduling return dates
- Gas safety inspections
- Completing relevant gas safety paperwork
- Pipework
- Adhering to all safety requiremnts when onsite
The successful candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years expeirence in a similar role
- Have worked in commerical environments previously.
- Be reliable and compliant
- Have a CSCS Card
- Have relevant Gas safety qualifications
