Experienced Finance Director sought to drive growth, lead M&A and optimise performance in a large UK division with c£35m EBIT and ambitious plans
A high-impact role for an experienced Finance Director to shape and drive growth in a large, acquisitive division of a UK market leader. With divisional EBIT c£35m, the business is targeting significant growth through improved efficiency, organic growth and strategic M&A.
Working closely with the Divisional MD and Group CFO, the role will lead all aspects of commercial finance, partnering with senior leadership to deliver strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership, budgeting and 3-year planning
- Leadership of finance across three sub-divisions
- Drive commercial performance and financial insight via strong business partnering
- Lead financial aspects of M&A, investment appraisal and integration
The Candidate
- Commercially focused qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
- Strong leadership and stakeholder skills
- Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused
- Experience in a stock-holding product business
- M&A exposure advantageous
