Commercial Equipment Sales Specialist
We are seeking a results-driven Commercial Equipment Sales Representative to manage the resale of leased commercial equipment at the end of lease terms. This role is critical in maximizing asset recovery value and supporting our leasing lifecycle strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, asset remarketing, and customer relationship management. This is a direct hire salaried position that will pay between %60K and $90K annually depending on experience and education.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-of-lease sales process for commercial equipment, including valuation, marketing, and negotiation
- Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, dealers, and resellers to ensure a competitive resale environment
- Collaborate with asset management and leasing teams to forecast inventory and plan disposition strategies
- Conduct market research to determine fair market value and pricing strategies for used equipment
- Coordinate inspections, appraisals, and logistics for equipment retrieval and resale
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and buyer feedback
- Support finance and legal teams in drafting and executing sales agreements
- Provide input on lease structuring to optimize future resale potential
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial equipment sales, leasing, or asset remarketing
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with equipment valuation methods and secondary markets
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Background in industries such as construction, transportation, or industrial equipment
- Experience working with leasing companies or financial institutions
