Commercial Drywall Estimator

Ideal Candidate:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Drywall Estimating, specifically with metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and trim and door work (subcontracting experience preferred).
  • Proficient in estimating software such as On Screen Takeoff, Edge, Wind Bid.
  • OSHA Certification and bilingual abilities (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost and labor estimates for commercial drywall projects.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and superintendents to review contracts and ensure smooth project handoffs.
  • Create, manage, and review project budgets, ensuring all estimates align with client expectations and project scope.
  • Communicate daily with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to address project details and pricing changes.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Change Orders as needed.
  • Estimate and manage commercial projects ranging from $500K to $10M, including restaurants, warehouses, and retail spaces.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • Salary range: $70K - $90K (commensurate with experience).
