Title: College Director Purpose: To serve Faith Church by leading our college ministry in alignment with Faith's mission, vision, values, and direction.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Ever-deepening love for Jesus, people and the local church.
• Passion for discipleship, evangelism and outreach to college-aged young adults.
• Calling to college ministry.
• Demonstrates the NT Leadership Qualifications
• Possesses a clear call to the local church with a willingness to be all in with the mission, vision, values and direction of Faith Church.
• Excellent chemistry with Faith's ministry staff team.
• Openness to ministry staff team and alignment with Faith's mission, vision, values and direction.
• Excellent ability to engage, listen and lead all types of personalities.
• Agreement with the EFCA statement of faith and Faith's constitution and bylaws.
• A member of Faith Church or a willingness to become a member.
• Excellent communication skills including biblical teaching and writing.
• An ability to build, equip and lead teams.
• Theological training and/or 3 years of experience in ministry preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish, implement, communicate and evaluate Faith's strategy for discipling college students and connecting them to Faith.
• Build a leadership team filled with leaders who have a calling, capacity and complementary gifts to accomplish Faith's strategy for college ministry.
• Establish the marks of a healthy college aged disciple.
• All church employees play a role in advancing Faith's mission, vision, values and direction and must make a valuable contribution to the church staff team and demonstrate a strong commitment to the corporate life of our church.
• Develop students to be faith leaders in their friend groups, school and in the ministry.
• Other duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The College Ministry Director reports to the Executive Director of Ministry.
Salary is negotiable based on theological training and ministry experience.
