We are seeking an experienced and energetic Coffee Shop Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dynamic team, and ensure that our customers enjoy an exceptional coffee experience. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on management, ensuring the smooth operation of our café while maintaining the highest standards in service, quality, and ambiance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring that all processes-from opening to closing-run smoothly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Team Leadership & Human Resources:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Create and manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing training.
  • Customer Service & Engagement:
  • Develop strategies to enhance the customer experience and promptly address any customer concerns.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the café's brand and values.
  • Inventory & Financial Management:
  • Oversee inventory control including ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Monitor sales, prepare financial reports, and help manage budgets to ensure profitability.
  • Marketing & Business Growth:
  • Implement local marketing initiatives and promotional events to drive customer engagement and boost sales.
  • Collaborate with ownership and senior management to identify growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the hospitality or coffee shop industry.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with a knack for motivating teams.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, scheduling, and basic financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with local health, safety, and food sanitation regulations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and perform tasks that involve light lifting.
