Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented engineer to lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of coupling equipment and processes. This role plays a key part in supporting new product development and driving continuous improvement in equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the selection, introduction, and acceptance of new coupling equipment, including the verification and enhancement of related fixtures and tools.
  • Participate in process evaluations for new product development and collaborate cross-functionally to support prototyping, verification, and trial production activities.
  • Debug, repair, maintain, and continuously improve production equipment to enhance utilization rates and reduce failure rates.
  • Develop and maintain equipment program files, create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance, and support machinery optimization initiatives.
  • Take ownership of glue selection, verification, and implementation specific to the coupling process.
  • Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate and optimize coupling process parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Electronic Information Engineering, Microelectronics, Communications, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the optoelectronics industry, preferably in areas such as optical communications or LiDAR.
  • Strong understanding of automation principles and equipment-related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed optical modules and mainstream coupling equipment, including debugging and maintenance.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly responsible, with strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
