Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented engineer to lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of coupling equipment and processes. This role plays a key part in supporting new product development and driving continuous improvement in equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the selection, introduction, and acceptance of new coupling equipment, including the verification and enhancement of related fixtures and tools.
- Participate in process evaluations for new product development and collaborate cross-functionally to support prototyping, verification, and trial production activities.
- Debug, repair, maintain, and continuously improve production equipment to enhance utilization rates and reduce failure rates.
- Develop and maintain equipment program files, create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance, and support machinery optimization initiatives.
- Take ownership of glue selection, verification, and implementation specific to the coupling process.
- Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to validate and optimize coupling process parameters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Electronic Information Engineering, Microelectronics, Communications, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the optoelectronics industry, preferably in areas such as optical communications or LiDAR.
- Strong understanding of automation principles and equipment-related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed optical modules and mainstream coupling equipment, including debugging and maintenance.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly responsible, with strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
