Qualified candidates will assist the head coach in leading the Boys Basketball program through the lens of the Roman Catholic faith tradition. Managing and directing the Boys Basketball program in all aspects, including but not limited to: team supervision/training/competing, clinic/camp programs, manage budgetary funds, and oversee assistant coaching staff, positive communications with community, parents, staff and administration. Follows all procedures of the Rochester Catholic School system, the Hiawatha Valley League Conference and the Minnesota State High School League. Position may involve lifting, bending, movement of materials and equipment. Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature controlled environment. However, as part of a coach's professional responsibility, some transporting of students and supervision of students is required.

Application Criteria:

The assistant coach/ C Squad coach will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning. Prior coaching experience and/or playing experience at the High School level or above is preferred. Applicants should notethat coaching certification may be required by our league membership in the future. The successful applicant will be required to achieve any certifications or licensures that our league would require. This coaching position reports to the head coach. The Activities Director is responsible for the overall program. The hiring of the successful candidate will be conducted and approved by the school Principal.
