CNC Turner ( Programmer/Setter/Operator)

Our client, a small engineering business based in Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed CNC Turner who can Program, set, operate CNC Lathes with FANUC and / or SIEMENS based controls.
Duties
- Responsible for Programming, editing, setting and operating of CNC Turning machines.
- Have the ability to program Fanuc and Siemens based programs.
- Ability to producing finished components to quality requirements.
- To attend and complete any training courses if required.
- Experience of working with small batches and single components
- Can work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
- Workshop Housekeeping.
Requirements
- Should have a background in CNC Turning
- Previous experience of working with FANUC or SIEMENS
- Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
- Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
- Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
- Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
- Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
- Skilled in manual handling
- Honest and reliable.
This is a permanent position where you will work 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.
In return you can expect an hourly rate of up to 20 per hour.
There is also the opportunity of this role leading to a supervisory based role for the right individual.
