Role- CNC Turner
Location- Knottingley
Salay- Negotiable depending upon experience
Days- Mon Fri 8am 4pm
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner for a subcontract precision Engineering company in Knottingley, specialising in batch work and bespoke projects, small to medium components.
Duties will involve -
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
- Experience working to close tolerance
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Do initial quality inspection for 1st Off s
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a precision engineering environment.
- Confident using hand tools
- Apprentice trained or engineering qualification is an advantage but not essential
- Ability to read Engineering drawings is essential
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
