Job Title: CNC Technician

Position Overview:

Join a Fortune 50 medical device company as a CNC Technician / Tool Maker, where you'll bring technical drawings to life, craft precision tools, and support production and process improvements. Key Responsibilities:
Design and modify components, systems, and precision tools (dies, jigs, fixtures) to support product development, manufacturing, and field service operations.
Use CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX) to gather data, perform calculations, and create layouts and design proposals.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and planning teams to align design criteria with manufacturability, material availability, and specifications.
Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related tools to fabricate and repair precision parts and equipment.
Inspect completed tools to ensure quality standards are met, and troubleshoot using diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
Maintain tools in working order and keep accurate records of designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficient in operating machine tools and using CAD software for tool design. Capable of performing detailed mathematical calculations and interpreting technical data.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a high level of precision in creating and inspecting tools to ensure they meet exact specifications.
Problem-Solving & Judgment: Able to troubleshoot routine technical issues using sound judgment. Comfortable interpreting procedures or policies to resolve problems and identifying areas for improvement.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and departments. Can convey and interpret technical information with clarity.
Autonomy & Contribution: Productive individual contributor with the ability to perform intermediate technical tasks under moderate supervision. Plays a key role in the design, creation, and maintenance of essential tools that support smooth manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or vocational or technical education or certification.
