CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer - Full-Time Position
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for programming, setting up, and running both low and high-volume production jobs with a high level of precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes for both short-run and long-run production.
- Operate CNC Swiss Lathes; experience with Okuma machines is a plus.
- Utilize Mastercam software for programming with a high degree of proficiency.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments and gages to ensure parts meet stringent tolerance requirements.
- Adhere to all quality policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
- Handle deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Strong experience with CNC Swiss Lathes; Okuma knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency in Mastercam is required.
- Formal education in CNC machining or a related technical field is preferred.
- Excellent blueprint reading and measurement skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
