Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Specialist machinist in Los Angeles, CA. The position will be responsible for developing the department alongside our current lead application engineer, building out a scalable department, and leading the application of technology and equipment to support the growing aerospace demands.


The role encompasses:

Programming, operating, and setting up CNC machines, performing machining and milling tasks, and ensuring quality control of the produced components. Using precision DMG MORI 5-axis and multi-axis machines.


Daily responsibilities include programming, machine operations, maintaining machinery, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The role demands precise attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Qualifications and Experience needed.

  • Machine Operation, Machining, and Milling skills
  • Programming experience in Solidworks, HSM Works, Fusion 360, Hypermill, and Mastercam.
  • Multi-axis Fanuc NC controller experience
  • Experience in Quality Control processes ( AS9100 )
  • Polyworks, Keyence, PC Dimis, Zeiss
  • CMM Experience
  • Proficiency in handling and maintaining Machinery
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and precision in tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

The role involves managing ITAR and export-controlled information.
