Job Description

If you're interested in taking your career to new heights, we have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced CNC Programmer in Watertown, WI.

Job description : As a CNC Programmer, this position will work with existing overhead cranes and hoists in the Konecranes legacy parts business. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Specific responsibilities include:

CNC programming of CNC lathes and horizontal, vertical machining centers

Knowledge post processors for machine tool programs

Update and implement new versions of programming software working with internal tech support

Standardization of methods for machining

Work closely with shop floor personnel on setup reduction, process improvements, quality improvements to include tooling with new technologies, fixturing, and time studies

Qualifications:
  • Experience in Solidworks and the add-in of SolidCam, 5S, and continuous improvement
Minimum five years manufacturing experience. Must have a very strong machining background on CNC Lathes along with Horizontal and Vertical Machining centers experience.

Strong organizational and communication skills are required, along with a working knowledge of computers, SAP, and Excel.

Knowledge of tooling, using the tooling database and tool vendors

The individual must be self-motivated, creative, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:
$65,000-$65,000 per year
