CNC MILLER & TURNER PROGRAMMER, SETTER, OPERATOR
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller & Turner (Programmer, Setter, Operator) to work for our client who are in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A CNC MILLER & TURNER PROGRAMMER:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes (Fanuc & HAAS).
- Read technical drawings and machine to tight tolerances.
- Select tools, monitor quality, and adjust programs as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and follow safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team to meet production targets.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS OF A CNC PROGRAMMER:
- Be able to programme, setup, and operate Millers and Turners. (Fanuc & HAAS).
- MasterCam knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
- Skilled in reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances.
- Attention to detail
THE HOURS:
You will work a day shift:
Monday -Thursday 7:30am 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am 2pm
Full time/ Part time hours available. You can work 3-5 days per week.
THE PAY:
Your hourly rate is dependent on skill level, and would be between £16.50 - £18.50 per hour.
