A BRIEF OVERVIEW

The CNC Programmer Level II plays a crucial role in our manufacturing facility by programming various types of CNC machines for the production and prototyping of tooling, molds, die fixtures, and machined parts. Utilizing blueprints, CAD design sketches, and engineering specifications, you will ensure that parts meet precise dimensions and close tolerance standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Create and edit CNC programs to ensure that processes are efficient and meet quality standards
  • Design production and prototype fixtures using SolidWorks
  • Maintain an up-to-date CNC program directory
  • Provide training in CNC programming to operators and fellow programmers
  • Implement changes based on engineering change requests (ECR) and engineer change orders (ECO)
  • Develop tool paths from engineering prints and models
  • Evaluate jobs to ensure the correct manufacturing methods are used
  • Program jobs based on CAD files or technical prints
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
  • Associate's Degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in manual and CNC equipment programming, tooling, and operation (Required)
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
  • Extensive experience in Blueprint Reading
  • Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Extensive experience in Machine Setup
  • Substantial experience with Manufacturing Equipment
  • Strong programming capabilities
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge in Tool and Die Design
  • Extensive experience in Multi-axis Machining

  • Occasionally remain stationary
  • Frequently move around the facility
  • Rarely move equipment within the building
  • Rarely maneuver under or around equipment
  • Frequently handle, adjust, inspect, and position various items and equipment
  • Occasionally communicate and exchange information with others
  • Frequently distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects

  • Frequently exposed to noise
