CNC Programmer
Job Description
We specialize in providing all necessary resources to develop and test cutting-edge technologies, including mechanical and electrical design, machining, printing, casting, molding, assembly, laser processing, and repair. We are deeply involved in the hardware development process, collaborating with product design and industrial design teams to solve challenging problems. This position is integral to our service, requiring hands-on operation of industrial-grade CNC machining equipment, programming parts, and ensuring timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently program parts using templated CAM programs in Fusion 360.
- Load and unload materials, check machine status, and launch jobs regularly to meet delivery commitments.
- Remove finished parts from machines, clean and post-process while protecting key features.
- Update task management platform to keep requesters informed of job status.
- Maintain equipment using existing SOPs and ensure continuous production by having all necessary tools and materials on hand.
Essential Skills
- Experience with digital design tools, 2D or 3D, such as Fusion 360 or other CAD/CAM software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor approaches to meet customer needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise by default.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Digital fabrication experience in a prototyping environment, specifically with CNC machining.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining equipment, hobby or commercial-grade.
- Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Mastercam.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
