Our client is looking for a qualified CNC programmer for their team. This is a great chance to join a state of the art company with upwards mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Program complex 3-, 4-, and 5-axis parts using Mastercam
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mills (Matsuura, Yasda, Grob) to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications
- Optimize machining strategies for speed, accuracy, and tool life
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet exacting standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot machines and tooling to ensure consistent performance
Job Requirements
Qualifications
-Hands-on experience in Mastercam and expertise working with high-end 5-axis machines, including Matsuura, Yasda, and Grob
- Proven experience with Mastercam (3D and multi-axis toolpaths)
- 3+ years operating 5-axis mills, preferably Matsuura, Yasda, or Grob
- Strong understanding of GD&T and precision machining practices
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and solve problems on the floor
