Job Description
  • Responsible for programming multi-axis CNC mill-turn lathes and CNC mills.
  • Develop and maintain new CNC programs.
  • Optimize current CNC programs using the latest cutting tools and techniques.
  • Maintain program library.
  • Select cutting tools, work holding tools and fixtures for new parts.
  • Create standardized, detailed tool sheets.
  • Provide support and resolve technical and program issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years' experience programming multi-axis mill-turn lathes.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and models with proficiency with geometric dimensions and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Must be very detail oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player.
  • Must be able to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
  • Must be hands on and willing to work on the shop floor proving out programs and troubleshooting issues on the machines
