Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer, particularly with milling or turning. This role involves a blend of programming and setup responsibilities in a standards-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop offline CNC programs using MasterCAM with a focus on 4-Axis machinery.
- Interpret GD&T and work with extremely tight tolerances (0.0002 inches or 0.0005 inches).
- Engage in setups, constituting 40% of the role, with the remaining 60% dedicated to programming.
- Collaborate on custom orders without the constraints of production work.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in offline CNC programming for milling or turning.
- Proficiency in MasterCAM programming.
- Ability to interpret GD&T and work with tight tolerances.
- Experience with 3, 4, or 5-axis machinery.
Work Environment
This role is a first shift opportunity, with work hours starting at either 6:30am or 7:30am and ending at 4:30pm. Expect approximately 10 hours of overtime per week. The work setting is a custom job shop focused on unique orders, ensuring no production work is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $39.00/hr.
