Position Overview
Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision components for the aerospace industry. They are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their production team. This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, mill-turn machines, and grinders to produce high-precision parts to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, including monitoring oil and coolant levels.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict dimensional tolerances.
- Perform machine adjustments based on mathematical calculations to maintain product specifications.
Position Requirements
- Practical hands-on training within a machining environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating CNC equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Skilled in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift components.
