CNC Machinist

Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist in Vista, CA.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Overtime may be required)
? Pay: $25 $33/hr, based on experience (DOE)

Position Summary As a CNC Machinist, you'll work closely with our Machine Shop Programmer and Engineering team to ensure all fabricated parts and assemblies meet company quality standards. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with room for growth.

As a CNC Machinist you will:

• Perform complete machine setups independently
  
  
• Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and design specs
  
  
• Select appropriate tools, work holding, machine speeds, and feeds
  
  
• Execute full part operations from setup to first article approval
  
  
• Conduct in-process inspections and maintain accurate quality records
  
  
• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
  
  
• Participate in internal training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  
  
• Complete other duties as assigned
  
  

This is a full time opportunity

The ideal candiate will have:

• U.S. Person status (due to export control regulations)
  
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
  
• 1+ years of MasterCam programming experience
  
  
• Solid understanding of machine offsets, clearances, and inspection methods
  
  
• Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection processes
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  
  
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  
  
• Willingness to work in a loud environment and stand for long periods
  
  
• Availability for overtime and occasional weekend shifts
  
  

Pay Rate: $25.00-33.00/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
