Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our client's CNC machines and related equipment in their manufacturing facility. We have opportunities in Macomb, Chesterfield, and Shelby Township pay and shift times vary. Both 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Performing Regular Maintenance on CNC Machines: Inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting CNC Lathes, Mills, Grinders, Hydraulic Broach, and Saw machines to ensure efficient and accurate operation.
  2. Diagnosing and Repairing Machine Problems: Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software-related issues with CNC machines.
  3. Conducting Preventive Maintenance: Scheduling and performing routine maintenance tasks to minimize machine downtime and reduce repair costs.
  4. Keeping Records of Machine Maintenance: Accurately documenting maintenance schedules, repairs performed, and parts utilized to maintain a comprehensive maintenance history.
  5. Ordering and Stocking Machine Parts: Ensuring necessary spare parts are ordered and stocked appropriately to minimize machine downtime during repairs.
  6. Collaborating with Machine Operators and CNC Setup Personnel: Working closely with machine operators and other CNC setup personnel to troubleshoot machine issues, provide solutions, and communicate potential problems proactively.
  7. Troubleshooting and Upkeep of Forklift and Overhead Crane: Performing maintenance and repairs on forklifts and overhead cranes to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
  8. Adhering to Safety Standards: Following all established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of a variety of manufacturing machinery.
  • Experience with the maintenance and repair of Overhead Cranes and Forklifts.
  • Familiarity with various CNC software interfaces, such as FANUC and SIEMENS.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation:
  • Varies based on position and location, $18-26/hr
