Sets-up and operates one or more CNC production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Works under moderate supervision

Responsibilities / Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC production machines according to procedures and guidelines.
  • Adjustments: Select appropriate settings and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure materials on the machine.
  • Precision and Timeliness: Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Supervision: Work under general supervision or a lead person, ensuring quality and efficiency in all operations.
  • QC: Micrometer, Height Gage, Depth Gage, Caliper

Your Profile / Qualifications

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 - $23 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.


The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in CNC machine operation or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, adjust machine settings, and perform tasks accurately and timely.
  • Physical Demands:

  • Work Environment:
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Noise levels may require participation in the Hearing Conservation Program.
