Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Performs work order activities according to production process procedure.
- Performs material loading of equipment including CNCs, chucker, bar feeders, CNC Saw, and ancillary equipment.
- Gathers and measures parts as produced by CNC operations.
- Performs CNC cycle starts and stop procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Performs daily equipment maintenance inspections including but not limited to lubrication, fluid checks and additions, chip handling, scrap removal, etc.
- Performs tool insert changes at predetermined intervals accurately and efficiently.
- Reports operational malfunctions including but not limited to equipment failures, equipment damage, scrap, etc.
- May work in other departments, as needed, based on training and qualifications.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical/Mechanical coursework desired
- 1 to 2 years manufacturing related experience
- Skill in operating CNC machinery as well as precision measurement tools preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use and accurately read blueprints and measure using devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Must be accurate and exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with others.
