CNC Lathe Setup and Operator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Setup/Operator with a minimum of 3 years of turning machine experience in setting up and operating CNC turning machines. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
-Machine Setup: Efficiently set up CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to detailed specifications.
-Operation: Operate CNC turning centers, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality output.
-Quality Assurance: Perform regular inspections of machined parts to maintain adherence to quality standards and specifications.
-Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
-Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to address and resolve any machining issues and improve overall processes.
-Documentation: Keep accurate records of machine setups, production runs, and tool changes.

Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathe machines.
-Minimum of Highschool diploma or GED
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
-Strong knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Strong communication skills
