CNC Lathe Programmer Compensation: $30+ DOE

About the Role Join a highly regarded precision machining company that specializes in the manufacturing and rebuilding of Babbit-lined bearings. As a CNC Lathe Programmer , you will leverage your skills to program, set up, and optimize Mazak lathes in a hands-on, precision-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Program and modify CNC Mazak lathes utilizing Mazatrol controls
- Review and refine posted programs for precision and performance
- Conduct full machine setups, including tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes to ensure compliance with specifications
- Interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders to establish machining processes
Qualifications and Requirements: - At least 2 years of experience in Mazatrol programming and machining
- Hands-on familiarity with Mazak lathes in a job shop or precision environment
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and measuring tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maintain standing for the duration of a shift
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to precision and quality
