CNC Horizontal Mill & Lathe Machinist (Swing Shift: 3 AM - 3 PM)

We're seeking a Horizontal Mill & Lathe Machinist to join our team on Swing Shift. If you have a keen eye for precision and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and specification


  • Location: SLC, UT
  • Shift: Swing Shift (3 AM - 3 PM)
  • Comp: $25-40/hr DOE $4/hr shift differential
  • Benefits: M, D, V, STD, LTD, 401k match, and more

What You'll Do:


  • Set up and operate horizontal mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed
  • Ensure precision and accuracy using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What You Need:


  • 3-6 years of experience with manual and CNC machining

    • Axis 3,4,5 experience required
    • Horizontal Mill & Lathe experience required
    • Mastercam experience highly preferred
    • Ability to read technical drawings and machining symbols
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with shop safety procedures and inspection processes
    • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and maneuver in a machining environment
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills
