Your Opportunity Awaits The Leidos Mechanical Manufacturing Facility is on the lookout for a skilled CMM Programmer/Operator to join our dynamic team. As part of a creative group tackling complex problems, you will be instrumental in verifying that machined and assembled hardware meets specified drawing and CAD model requirements using advanced Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and laser trackers. Your role will also involve receiving inspections, calibrating inspection equipment, and setting up and measuring parts using standard measuring tools.
Key Responsibilities: - Verify that electro-mechanical parts and assembled hardware align with specified drawings and specifications.
- Assist in documenting work and generate quality documentation including inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance.
- Conduct receiving inspections and calibrate standard inspection equipment.
- Set up and measure parts using standard measuring tools.
- Track and manage non-conformance on the production floor.
Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of CMM programming and inspection experience.
- Experience with standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Ability to execute or verify test procedures and produce detailed test reports.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible for a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in inspecting complex aerospace hardware and managing non-conformance materials.
- Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems and related standards.
- Familiarity with Brown and Sharpe CMM and PC-DMIS software is advantageous.
- Understanding of Digital Product Definition is desirable.

Pay Range: $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
