Nesco Resource is looking for a CMM Programmer to support our client's commitment to precision and excellence. In this role, you'll be responsible for writing and maintaining CMM programs, performing inspections, and working closely with engineering to uphold strict quality standards. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in measurement tools, CMM programming, and quality control.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Salary: $65,000-$90,000/year
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities: - Develop & Maintain CMM Programs - Utilize Zeiss CMM with Calypso software to ensure precision in measurements.
- Collaborate with Engineering - Assist in fixture design and optimize inspection processes for continuous improvement.
- Perform First Article Inspections - Generate detailed inspection reports and ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
- Hands-On QC Inspections - Work with hand gauges, profilometers, interferometers, and measuring microscopes to verify product accuracy.
- Quality Control & Problem Solving - Monitor nonconforming products, communicate quality issues, and drive timely resolutions.
What We're Looking For: - Experience in Quality Inspection - A high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
- CMM Expertise - Hands-on experience with optical measurements and Zeiss Calypso software preferred.
- Tech-Savvy - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (MS Access a plus).
- Attention to Detail - Excellent visual acuity to ensure precise inspections.
- Problem-Solving Mindset - Strong analytical and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
