Job Details

Program and operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to perform precision dimensional inspections of parts and assemblies.
Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and 2D/3D engineering drawings to create accurate inspection routines.
Conduct first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final part verifications.
Analyze CMM data, prepare detailed inspection reports, and communicate findings to engineering, production, and quality teams.
Maintain calibration and cleanliness of CMM equipment and ensure proper documentation of inspection results.
Work cross-functionally with production and engineering to resolve non-conformance issues.
Continuously improve inspection programs to enhance speed, accuracy, and repeatability.
Train and mentor QA technicians or inspectors on CMM operations and Calypso basics as needed.
Assist with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) investigations as they relate to dimensional issues.
