Description Cloud Systems Administrator Position Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cloud Systems Administrator. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to an innovative technical development program that supports the Sponsor's Attribute Services in the IDAM/ICAM domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a cutting-edge Cloud-Native Service architecture that empowers software development teams to harness cloud capabilities. Collaborating closely with implementation teams, you will provide crucial technical guidance and establish implementation priorities related to cloud services. You will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure that our mission-critical services operate seamlessly 24/7/365, typically being on-call one full week every two months.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the provision of technical expertise, delivering innovative products and services tailored to meet customer needs.
- Support the development of enterprise software solutions utilizing AWS.
- Explore and implement novel approaches and solutions, using your extensive experience and established guidelines.
- Conduct regular security patching to protect our systems.
- Administer and support servers within the AWS environment.
- Provide hands-on engineering support and execution guidance to mission teams.
- Ensure continuous operation of mission-critical applications throughout the year.
- Manage a COTS service that delivers attribute data through an LDAP interface to various Sponsor systems.
Essential Qualifications - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Expertise in Linux-based operating systems.
- Strong skills in Bash scripting.
- Experience with security accreditation processes.
- Proficiency in Cloud/Amazon Web Services.
- Ability to perform System Administration/Privileged Access duties, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Familiarity with Elastic tools including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
- Understanding of architecting and designing enterprise cloud solutions in AWS.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional project teams across Software Development, System Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
- Prior experience in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, and Rundeck.
- Proficient in using the AWS Console, CLI, and managing cloud services to automate infrastructure deployment.
- Capable of interpreting complex software and infrastructure deployment instructions.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with LDAP technologies.
- AWS Certification at the Associate level (AWS Certified Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate).
- Minimum of 3 years of C2S experience.
- Experience with CloudFormation.
- Ability to manage complex Sponsor relationships and gather requirements effectively.
- Experience with IAM/IdAM/ICAM systems, including Authentication and Authorization.
- Familiarity with Tomcat and NGINX.
- Experience with containerization implementations.

Pay Range: $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
