Cloud Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Cloud/Software Engineer - We are looking for an experienced and motivated Azure Cloud/Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a SIPR Cloud/Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and services. This position would be fully on-site in Chantilly, VA This position requires an active Secret clearance, can hold up to a Top Secret clearance. This is a direct-hire position. This position requires an active Security + certification (or higher), must be DoD 8140 compliant. We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud/Software Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications and services that support business needs. You will collaborate with engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers to build high-performance, secure, and reliable systems. Your responsibilities will include cloud infrastructure design, software development, and service integration to optimize application performance.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure and Azure Government
Implement microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures
Optimize cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, and databases)
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party services
Build and automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation
Ensure application security best practices (secure coding, encryption, vulnerability management)
Monitor performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stackQualifications: 5+ years of experience in cloud development or software engineering
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go, etc.)
Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and graph database technologies
Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC), version control (Git), and agile methodologies
DoD 8140 compliance and active CompTIA Security+ or higher certification
Active Secret security clearance
