Cloud Platform Quality Assurance Specialist to join a dynamic program supporting the US Space Force. Primary Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough testing of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services in a hybrid Azure environment to ensure compliance with defined requirements and standards.
- Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using tools such as Azure DevOps, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, document, and manage bugs and issues using Azure Boards or similar service tracking systems, ensuring effective communication with developers and stakeholders for quick resolution.
- Perform load, stress, and performance testing to assess system behavior under various conditions, validating the scalability and reliability of cloud services.
- Evaluate the security architecture of applications and infrastructure to confirm adherence to Azure security best practices and standards.
- Ensure seamless integration of all system components within the hybrid cloud setup, incorporating both on-premises and Azure cloud resources.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, plans, and results to support compliance, auditing, and further development efforts.
- Collaborate closely with developers, system architects, and IT staff to troubleshoot issues and incorporate feedback into iterative testing and development cycles.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with 4+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with a SECRET clearance.
- Familiar with Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Knowledgeable in test automation frameworks and tools.
- Certifications: Preferably, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or equivalent certification or CompTIA Security + CE.
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong understanding of Azure architecture, including networking, security, and identity management.
- Proven experience managing or testing applications in a hybrid cloud environment, integrating on-premises solutions with Azure.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps for automated testing and deployment.
- Experience utilizing performance and security testing tools tailored for cloud environments.
- Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities, adept at debugging complex issues across hybrid environments.
- Additional Certifications: Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert are a plus.

Pay Range: Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
