Position - Cloud Ops Planform Engineer

Location - Fort Worth TX

Job Type - Full Time Permanent Position

Job Description:-

• Responsible for the fundamental technology work of architecting designing building the core frameworks for our cloud-based system platforms and end to end solutions, including building cloud platform and performance components.
• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, tools, and platforms and must have an understanding of systems engineering principles derived from experience.
• Collaborate with critical stakeholders to understand business needs, priority, and the quality of services to be created or enhanced.
• Ability to manage multiple projects against specific timelines.
• Ability to communicate, understand and effectively work with our clients to articulate their requirements and challenges.
• Implement CRDs based on customer requirements.
• Design & Implement a CI/CD for building and testing CRDs.

Skill Set:

• Strong Experience in Unix/Linux system, files systems and an added advantage to have shell scripting.
• Love Upstream Kubernetes, love to learn.
• 6-8+ years' experience of working on distributed systems
• 3-4 years' experience of working on managing and building Kubernetes services.
• In-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring, Database, Security, Identity and DR environment requirements.
• Must have prior hands-on experience with automation of infrastructure and code provisioning.
• Hands on experience on building and managing Kubernetes clusters, Strong Knowledge on Kubernetes, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), implement multiple CRDs.
• Knowledge in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Upbound.
• Strong knowledge on cloud platforms: Azure, AWS (Good to have)
• Experienced in deploying multi-tenant cloud environments with fine grain access controls.
• Certification in container orchestration systems (i.e. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development) would be consider as a plus Tool/Frameworks:

Kubernetes, Argo CD, Azure ARM templates, Go/Python/Java
