Cloud Observability Engineer x3

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and certifying Observability capabilities for GCP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate cloud services using technologies such as Terraform.

• Implement and manage Observability tools and APIs to monitor and improve cloud infrastructure.

• Certify cloud services in a financial services environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Implement and manage DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

• Collaborate with various departments to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and provide effective solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services.

• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technology.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of cloud automation experience, with 8+ years preferred.

• Hands-on experience with cloud provider platforms, with a preference for GCP.

• Strong development expertise.

• Strong experience with Terraform.

• Experience with Observability tools and APIs.

• Experience with DevOps pipelines.

• Experience automating deployment of cloud services.

• Experience certifying cloud services.

• Financial Services experience preferred.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
