Role: Cloud/Networking Senior Engineer

Location: NYC Hybrid 3 days week

Duration: Contract

Skills:

Expert-level knowledge of Azure security services (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Security Center, Azure Policy, and RBAC).
Strong understanding of cloud-native and hybrid networking concepts, including VNETs, NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints, ExpressRoute, and VPNs.
Proven experience designing and implementing zero trust architecture and secure landing zones in Azure.
Deep familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) best practices, including Azure AD, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and MFA.
Experience conducting threat modeling, risk assessments, and designing mitigations for Azure-hosted workloads and services.
Strong grasp of core networking protocols and security technologies, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), TLS, IPSec, and firewalls.
