In this impactful role, you'll design and maintain innovative file-based integration services utilizing AWS Transfer Family (SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2). You'll work with cutting-edge tools such as AWS Lambda (Python), Terraform, GitLab, and IBM Sterling File Gateway to create scalable solutions.
Responsibilities: - Develop and manage AWS Lambda functions using Python for efficient and scalable file solution implementations.
- Configure and oversee AWS infrastructure components, including EC2 instances, IAM roles, security groups, load balancers, and Route 53.
- Lead the creation and enforcement of integration architecture standards and best practices throughout cloud migration projects.
- Develop tailored monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and proactive issue detection.
- Provide support for AWS Transfer Family services to facilitate secure file transfers using protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2.
- Participate in ongoing production support, including being part of an on-call rotation.
- Build and scale integration service platforms applying best-in-class practices with native AWS services.
- Implement strategies focusing on high availability, load balancing, and failover for applications and infrastructure.
- Adhere to collaborative development practices through thorough code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure solutions meet security standards while enhancing operational efficiency.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and GitLab pipelines for secure and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing file-based integration services using AWS Transfer Family, Lambda/Python, SNS, Grafana, IBM Sterling File Gateway, and Secure Transport.
- 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and GitLab.
- Design and implement secure file transfer bridges integrating AWS Transfer Family (SFTP) and IBM Sterling File Gateway for streamlined partner onboarding and automation of file processing workflows.
- Develop scheduled jobs and API integrations for dependable data exchange between AWS and IBM Sterling systems.
- Enforce secure access controls utilizing IAM roles and S3 bucket policies to guarantee least-privilege permissions.
- Enable robust auditing and compliance monitoring through AWS CloudTrail and CloudWatch logging.
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway in on-premises and AWS EC2 environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, and Sterling Control Center is an advantage.
