Job Description

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Responsibilities:

• Provide support for cloud infrastructure issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

• Manage the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure components.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.

• Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance and cost.

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for cloud services.

• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure integrated and cohesive cloud operations.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly in Azure and AWS.

• Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience with cloud-native services and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline).

• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Opsramp, Grafana, Splunk).

• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards.

• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning, including automated backup processes and data restoration Familiarity with Well-Architected Frameworks (Azure and AWS)

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional. Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell or others.

• Knowledge or Certification in FinOps is a plus (Knowledge of cloud cost management, optimization strategies, and tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, or GCP Cost Management.)

• English speaker fluent or native

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
