Responsibilities Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve the speed and scale of advancing cloud migration for IC and DoD customers? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems to enhance and advance national security. On our team, you'll work to advance cloud migration and adaptation for key national security and defense organizations. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience, you'll work with a high caliber team of industry teammates to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll grow your skills in areas like Automation, Cloud Based Security, and gain valuable AWS experience and certifications while developing critical systems for national security and defense clients. Qualifications You Have: 5+ years of experience leading the designing and implementing scalable, distributed applications 5+ years of experience utilizing software development frameworks, tools, and methodologies Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS for building and deploying applications Experience with containerization and orchestration using AWS ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes in an AWS environment Experience integrating cloud-native architectures with software engineering best practices to build resilient, scalable applications in the AWS ecosystem Knowledge of AWS infrastructure automation tools, such as CloudFormation or Terraform TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS Diploma or GED Ability to obtain an AWS Solutions Architect certification within 6 months from hire date Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,143.26 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
