Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS tools, Docker, Fargate, containerization, and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment strategies, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and AWS Fargate.
Automate container deployment, scaling and management using Kubernetes
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and compliance.
Maintain and update cloud documentation, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proficiency in AWS Fargate for serverless container management.
Expertise in Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Atlassian Tools, CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack).

Hybrid Schedule - Rockville, MD
Applicants must be local to DC area or willing to relocate.
