Your Role: As a
Cloud & DevSecOps Specialist, you will engage with development, security, and operations teams to improve the performance, security, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and application services. This role is pivotal in defining best practices, automating deployments, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud solutions. Reporting directly to the VP of Information Technology, you'll be instrumental in shaping our cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities: - Establish and implement best practices for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance and security in cloud environments.
- Automate deployment pipelines for enhanced efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and performance challenges.
- Document cloud architecture, processes, and security policies comprehensively.
- Explore and integrate new technologies to boost IT services and business value.
- Design infrastructure as code using Python, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Enhance CI/CD processes utilizing GitHub Actions and other leading tools.
- Optimize API gateways and management solutions for secure and seamless connectivity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
What You'll Need: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying cloud-based production applications.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Thorough understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Solid understanding of version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
