P2-C2-STS
Virtusa is looking for senior devops and platform engineers who have experience in the following:
At least 5 years of experience in the financial services technology industry
Strong familiarity with Microservices architecture configurations and
deployments on cloud (public/private/hybrid) and traditional on-prem
environments
Expert and hands-on working knowledge of
o CI/CD (Jenkins / Sonar)
o Unix scripting / Terraform / python scripting
o Docker / PODMAN Containers, Kubernetes / OpenShift
o Netflix OSS or similar Microservices architecture setup
o Disaster recovery architecture / setup / configuration
o Kafka setup / clustering / administration
o ELK (Elastic Logstash Kibana) setup / clustering / administration
o Postgres setup / administration / replication / recovery
o Any graph database (Allegro / Neo4j) setup / administration /
replication / recovery
o AWS / GCP / Azure service setup / administration
o Firewall setup / configuration (Soft / Hard)
o Security scanning and remediation (Static / Dynamic)
o Application ethical hacking
o Enterprise network setup and management
Support the following Platform engineering tasks:
1. Platform setup and configuration - Openshift, Kubernetes, ability to tune Java/Spring boot applications
2. DevOps CI/CD - Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Split IO, Blue Green Deployments
Mandatory skills:
Linux/Unix Scripting
Containerization - OCP, Podman, Kubernetes
DevOps Experience and Understanding of CI/CD Tool landscape
Config as Code. - Ansible
Soft Skills - Communication skills, Tracking and Management ability
