Cloud Developer Senior with Security Clearance

The Cloud Developer is responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This role requires the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud.

• Analyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimization.

• Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services.

• Manage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environment.

• Ensure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud services.

• Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.

• Debug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructure. Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and services.

• Proficient in DevSecOps practices and automation tools. Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cloud architecture and cloud service delivery models.

• Strong analytical skills to provide recommendations for cloud migration and deployment.

• Experience in developing strategies for cloud service failure/recovery and cost optimization.

• Ability to manage cloud policies and ensure secure cloud environments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Preferred Certifications:
o Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
o AWS Certified Cloud Practioner
