Cloud Data Engineer

Primary Skills: SQL (Expert), AWS (Proficient), ETL (Expert), Python (Intermediate), Agile (Experienced) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 12+ Months Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $75 - $85 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our hybrid team in San Francisco for developing, managing, and optimizing our data warehousing solutions, primarily on AWS. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in SQL, ETL processes, and AWS Cloud technologies to support data warehouse and business intelligence applications. You'll be instrumental in designing and deploying innovative solutions that impact business decisions and processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop data warehouse and business intelligence solutions, ensuring high data quality and system performance. Architect, develop, and optimize ETL processes and data models to meet business requirements. Implement and manage cloud-based data warehouse solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as S3, Redshift, and Glue. Develop and maintain metadata, repositories, and documentation for data warehouse applications. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems, tune applications, and recommend process improvements. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with multiple RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL). Strong experience with AWS data warehousing technologies and best practices. Solid understanding and experience in Agile development methodologies. Industry Experience: 5 to 9 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
