Cloud Cyber Security Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience (within data loss prevention, cybersecurity or network operations)

5+ years of AWS cloud security experience - (AWS Cloud Watch, AWS Event Bridge, AWS Config, Azure Event Hub, NGFQ, WAF, CSPM)

Hands on experience with web proxies, email gateways, IDPS, DLP, firewalls, web application firewalls, container security, cloud posture management (CSPM)

Cloud implementation experience in a large enterprise environment

Strong experience with container security

Experience working in a regulated environment (Financial services / Insurance etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CISSP Certification (any cloud based certifications)

Azure or GCP experience

DevSecOps background (CSPM, Container Security, Terraform) experience

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer for a fortune 1000 Financial Services company in Arlington, Texas. This individual will be reporting into the AVP and joining a local team of 9 individuals. This team is currently working in Azure and in the process of implementing AWS to be in a multi-cloud environment. As a cybersecurity engineer, you will design, install and support a variety of security technologies including DLP, HIPS, SIEM, Endpoint Security and more.

You will proactively identify and implement technologies to secure enterprise information assets, using threat intelligence feeds and incident response data to deploy custom rules and policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cybersecurity management to develop project plans, participate in risk assessments and emergency response activities, prepare technical documents, and evaluate security tools to enhance network and host systems.

This role would require 4 days a week onsite in Arlington, TX.
