Job Number: R Cloud Computing Application Architect Engineer The Opportunity: Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve Naval programs? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of DoD's toughest problems. On our team, you'll support the system's architecture. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with modern sof tware to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set in areas like automation and cloud-based security while developing critical systems for Naval programs. Ready to transform the digital space with cloud technology? Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, Micro sof t Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
5+ years of experience supporting Cloud applications or infrastructure
3+ years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration as a function of a continuous integration and continuous delivery ( CI / CD ) process
Experience working with microservices and containerization, including orchestration, cluster management, and container storage with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments such as automated server or network configurations, large-scale sof tware deployments, or monitoring and testing, including CI / CD
Knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
Secret clearance
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire date Nice If You Have: Experience identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience
Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
Experience with the OWASP Sof tware Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity Model
Bachelor's degree
Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Asso cia te, Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect, or MCSE - Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
