Venturi is an electronic platform designed to streamline participants' access to liquidity via State Steet's Peer-to-Peer Repo offering and enhance portfolio management capabilities. Users may leverage simple portfolio analytics tools to review portfolio positions, collateral sources and uses, and outstanding trade exposures. Venturi is integrated with back-end settlement services, including triparty collateral management, thus providing front-to-back solution to its users.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring efficiency, availability and configuration of the Venturi platform by providing solutions to issues based on sound technical knowledge.

• Build tools to start, stop, configure, and monitor Venturi Processes/Services and to integrate them with standard monitoring/deployment tools.

• Create and maintain automated scripts that will build, configure, deploy and test applications deployed to different environments, maintain, support, and enhance Venturi continuous integration environment.

• Interact and work with Vendor/Infrastructure/Business teams for various PROD/non-Prod activities.

• Work hands on with the system testing that it meets business requirements.

• Support and interact with technical teams/third parties to continuously run Production/Non-Production Environment. Triage and analyze technical issues, including performance and connectivity issues.

• Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.

• Break down moderately complex processes into simple and reliable components.

• Prepare SOPs/KEDBs for every new activities/issues coming up in the production environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in managing and supporting critical production application in AWS cloud environment.

• Experience in DevOps (or related) technologies like EKS/ECS.

• Working knowledge of any industry standard complex job automation technologies and proven skill to code complex job schedule like airflow.

• Proven ability to work in a mission-critical operations and support environment.

• Experience or familiarity with servers and networks is preferred.

• Experience with SQL, Postgres SQL preferred.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Service cloud providers such as Azure/AWS cloud is an must.

• Periodic off-hours support for weekend activity.

• Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
  • Experience with automation using any scripting languages such as Python/Perl/PowerShell etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Database software or IT technical experience.
  • Previous experience with StateStreet or any other securities market domain is an advantage.
